Abbeville Youth Center
Stoll Industries is proud to support one of the local ministries that is reaching out to the teens of our community.
The Abbeville Youth Center is a non-profit organization that is located on Main St in Abbeville, SC. The goal of the Youth Center is to be a safe place for the youth of our community, and to be a place where they can learn of the life-saving love of Jesus Christ.
The Youth Center is open 4 days each week after school for students in grades 6 through 12. Mondays and Thursdays are provided for middle school students. Tuesdays and Fridays are dedicated to high school students.
While at the youth center, students can participate in activities such as pool, ping pong, air hockey, video games, board games, and more. The Youth Center offers a variety of programs and activities that are focused on citizenship, character, and Christ.
Students are offered Life Skills classes such as financial readiness, cooking classes, car maintenance, and wood working. One-on-one mentoring and tutoring sessions are available to all students. Girls’ night out and boys’ night out are offered throughout the year to help equip these young people in becoming strong, positive, influential men and women.
Daily Bible studies and small group sessions are also provided in an effort to teach students about salvation and forgiveness through the love of Christ. The Youth Center has seen many young people fully surrender their hearts and lives to Christ and will continue to trust God to deliver the harvest.
The youth center only has 3 full-time staff: A Program manager, an administrative assistant, and a student counselor. Most of the people who can be seen working at the youth center are volunteers who sacrifice their time and energy to pour into the lives of the students. The number one goal of the volunteers is building relationships, showing the students that there are people who care about them and want to walk with them through life.
